Bosendorfer CS 214
The Bosendorfer CS 214 is an 88 key, seven-foot grand piano that is ideal for conservatories and music schools.
Our CS models have everything that distinguishes a genuine Bösendorfer:
- the unique resonating case principle, which treats the entire instrument as a sounding body
- the independent capo d’astro which preserves the original sound over generations
- the highest percentage of mountain spruce resonating wood
- individual stringing provides a maximum of tuning stability
- masterful manufacturing in the highest quality from the Bösendorfer factory
Differences in construction between the CS models and standard models:
- The lid profile is slightly rounded.
- The music rack is open-worked.
- The legtops are beveled and not curved.
- The key-rail is beveled.
- The finish is semi-gloss rather than polyester.
- The lock-escutcheon is painted black .
