Estonia

Estonia describes the sound of its piano as metaphorically equivalent to the sound of Johannes Brahms, who wrote piano concertos in which the pianist and orchestra combined to produce splendid Romantic-Era rich, warm music.  Estonia pianos have a warm ring, similar to that of the human voice, with special singing element cantabile.  All Estonia pianos are hand-crafted from the highest-quality European materials and feature authentic, full Renner actions.

Brodmann

The Joseph Brodmann sound philosophy is based on the European sound tradition, which shies away from bright, harsh-sounding pianos in favor of a more rounded, full tone.  Brodmann, which is headquarted in Vienna, manufactures its pianos using quality European parts in order to achieve its signature tone.

Hobart M. Cable

The Hobart M. Cable company was founded in Indiana in 1905 with the aim of providing affordable pianos for the home.  American Sejung (ASC) subsequently acquired the line.  Hobart M. Cable pianos are produced in the largest stringed-instrument plant in the world and are a solid choice as an entry-level piano.  While most entry-level pianos feature laminated or veneered soundboards and Chinese hammer felt, Hobart M. Cable pianos use solid Alaskan Sitka spruce soundboards and Japanese hammer felt to provide the highest available quality for its price point.
